Here at PURE Spa we have a huge number of excellently trained and experienced therapists with a wealth of knowledge about everything Health and Beauty related, from after treatment care to skin care routines, favourite products and even little secret hints and tips that they’ve picked up along the way. PURE Blog decided to tap into their knowledge and get some of these secret tips for our lovely readers. Here’s what the girls at PURE Spa Union Square Aberdeen suggested…
Nickola Whyte: “For people who suffer with unruly eyebrows they can apply Vaseline daily to retrain the hair to lie in the correct position.”
Lisa Falconer: “Add a few drops of Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Moisture Melt to hair conditioner, body wash or body moisturizer to give your hair and skin a natural looking glow without the greasy feel.”
Amy Leitch: “Holidays coming up? Use Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow to give yourself a full body scrub down before you jet off. This will remove all dead/dry skin and leave you with a fresh new layer which will help your tan come along in the Sun and also leave your skin glowing and smooth.”
Brianna Ludlow: “Use Elemis Liquid Layer as a make-up primer. It’s great for sealing in your products and creating a barrier for pollutants that can cause dull looking skin. It also has an SPF 30 in it to protect your skin from the Sun.”
Hannah Davies: “Need to grow your nails? The best way to grow them is to buff your nails once or twice a week. This has been proven to give your nails a growth spurt as it stimulates the cells within the growing area of the nail. As well as this, it also gives your nails a lovely shine.”
Lisa Carroll: “To increase the life of your foundation or concealer and also to cut down on the heaviness of it, just mix it with a light moisturizer to give your skin a glowing look.”
Laura Carle: “Put a dab of Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask onto spots overnight as this will heal them up.”
Rachel Wiseman: “Use Elemis Milk Bath to moisturise skin. If your skin is really dry then lather the milk bath onto the skin and wrap yourself with cling-film for a good skin nourishment.”
Jenna Thomson: “Apply toothpaste to spots to take away any redness and dry them up.”
