Revitalise Your Skincare CampaignLooking after your skin is one of the key principles of a good beauty regime – after all, that’s why we’ve launched our Good Skincare Campaign! But then again… sometimes it’s easier said than done. Maybe it’s time then that you revitalise your skincare routine?

After a long night out on the town or a particularly bad day at work, it’s easy to don the PJs and have a lazy night. A swipe with a wipe is sometimes all you can muster. We know – but your skin will LOVE you for getting a skincare routine! And in return, you will love it back.

1 – Know your skin type

Finding out your skin type is the most fundamental part of proper care. Even the most expensive products will do nothing if not tailored to your specific needs. Don’t buy what your friends are. Don’t buy what celebrities are using. Well, you can, but your skin is not the same as theirs!

The best way to find out your skin type is to have a facial with a fully trained therapist. For regular maintenance try and book in for a facial every 4-6 weeks. As for homecare, start basic with a cleanser, toner and moisturiser range. If necessary, expand your range from there – but do so steadily, so as not to overwhelm the skin and risk not seeing results.

2 – Beware your skin ‘condition’

Your skin type and skin condition are different things. Your skin type can be ‘dry’, ‘oily’ or ‘combination’. This is the texture and make up of your skins surface – and more importantly, this always changes due to your skin conditions.
