How do you create the spa experience at home?

We all love a little pamper time. The moment when you slip into a nice hot bath with your favourite music playing and you let all your troubles melt away.

How do you create the spa experience at home?

Lauren, Senior Therapist at PURE Lothian Road shares her ideal pamper night.

1.) I have a full body exfolation with REN Guerande Salt Exfoliating Body Balm. I always exfoliate dry before getting into the bath, to dust off dead skin cells.

2.) I love a really hot bubble bath. It really soaks up my stress and helps me unwind. I use Skin Wisdom Day Spa Vanilla & Neroli bath soak, dim the lights, put on the candles and enjoy a nice glass of wine whilst listening to my favourite music. I love The Script‘s new album.

3.) To get my skin looking de-stressed, I use a face mask whilst I’m in the bath. My favourite is the Exotic Creme Moisturising Mask by Elemis. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse off.

4.) I make sure that there’s a nice soft, fluffy towel on the radiator, so when I get out the bath it’s really cosy.

5.) Once I’m dry I apply Skin Wisdom Day Spa Vanilla & Neroli body butter to make my skin super soft. I can’t believe it’s only £3.97!

6.) I then slip into fresh pyjamas and wrap up in my dressing gown, finish that bottle of wine and watch a romantic movie, like Dear John.

7.) Once I’m feeling completely unwound and pampered, I go to bed and enjoy a long refreshing night’s sleep.

8.) In the morning I wake up feeling brand new!

Thanks Lauren.
