Picture for blogLet’s face it. Going to a new spa or salon can be a little daunting sometimes, which is why we’re grabbing our new team at PURE West Nile Street as often as possible for some quick-fire questions!

You never know what you might have in common…

  1. What do you do outside of work?

Outside of work, I like to go for a hike usually around Loch Lomond. Nothing makes me feel better afterwards than a massage or infra-red sauna. There are some perks to working in a spa!

  1. My trade secret is…

Once you open a nail polish, roll the bottle between the palms of your hands, rather than shaking it. This keeps your polish in better condition. Shaking the bottle can create little bubbles that you may not notice when applying, but will notice when the polish dries.

3.    I enjoy my work because…

I love the fact that I meet new people everyday! Glasgow, it’s true what they say: we are the most welcoming people and will talk absolute nonsense to one another. That’s a good thing!

I love being a therapist too. Performing luxurious spa and beauty treatments is really rewarding. Seeing my clients leave PURE West Nile Street feeling chilled out and great about themselves is a sign of two things: a job well done and a happy customer!

4.    My favourite treatment…

Mud-682x1024To perform: I love performing a Moroccan Mud Wrap.  This is a cleansing exfoliation, followed by a rasul mud wrap, finished with argan oil to hydrate the skin.  It’s very sensual and aromatic.

To receive: I love receiving an Indian Head Massage. Not only does it include that amazing “someone is playing with your hair” feeling… but it also includes shoulders, neck and back. I couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

5.    Describe Glasgow and  West Nile St. in three words!

Glasgow is many things, but I’d say… animated, colourful and welcoming. As for  PURE West Nile Street, I’m obviously going to be a little biased, but I fully believe we are passionate, trusted and caring.
