Breathe! Most of us don’t use our lungs nearly well enough. If you breathe deeply it’ll lower your blood pressure, make you feel more relaxed and basically deliver more oxygen to your whole body which will make you feel more energetic too.
Take the ouch out of pluckling your eyebrows by applying a little bonjella to the area first, give it a couple of minutes to sink in then get to work with the tweezers!

Put moisturiser on your neck as well as your face to keep your neck firm and supple.
Always splash your face with cold water after washing it with hot to help the pores close and if you have a spot the best solution is a little bit of sudocrem or any other nappy rash cream. It seems to dry out the spot without drying out the skin.
Eat a healthy diet ,foods rich in vitamin E such as leafy greens. Avoid fizzy drinks and caffiene which can dry skin out and drink at least 8 glasses of fluid (preferably water ) a day
I use aloe vera as an occasional facial treatment…pure aloe vera on my face after a bath…it is very refreshing and I think that it evens out skin tone. Also it helps to calm down any itching or burning skin. Keep a tube handy!
Dont sweat the small stuff! Everything in moderation and make plenty of time for the things you love doing and smile.
Beauty sleep! You can never get enough. Taking time out to relax, pamper and treat yourself is the best tonic for wellbeing.
Used tea bags on your eyelids do wonders for brightening up tired eyes and taking away puffy eyes.
And this may seem a bit odd…but when wearing a bright shade of lippy, to avoid the embarrassment of having lippy on your teeth… once you have applied your lippy, stick your finger in your mouth, purse your lips, and pull your finger back out. And tada…you won’t get any lippy on your teeth!
Drink herbal teas regularly. They can help your body to detox, have beneficial properties for your body and keep you hydrated – all good for your internal health which is reflected in the external health of your skin. Some infusions can also be applied directly to the skin and used teabags can soothe tired eyes. Alternating drinks with herbal teas can help reduce your caffeine intake which has knock on effects of reducing blood pressure and stress levels, and will help you to sleep better, depending on which teas you choose. You can still choose others that give you a healthier energy kick.
Take a tip from ladies in the big apples and make grooming part of your daily routine. If your nails, waxing and tan are done you are ready for anything. Being well groomed makes you more confident and keeping on top of it means it’s much more manageable.
Sleep, sleep, sleep! Never a better excuse.
Acqueous cream is readily available from chemists, comes in small or very large tubs and is inexpensive. It really is a terrific body moisturiser and cleanser, having only PURE ingredients so perfect for sensitive skin. It has no perfume so does not clash with any scent you may be wearing.

We all know the regular stuff like drinking lots of water, mousturising, avoiding toxins etc etc. What we should all do however is set aside a little bit of money every month for that special beauty treatment that makes a whole lot of difference but we don’t have the knowledge or time to do. Giving yourself a little treat not only helps you look good but makes you feel good too :).
Take time to relax and pamper yourself every now and again to revitalize! Specially after a long day or week of hard work!
I swear by those exfoliating gloves that you can pick up in Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, etc. – pretty much everywhere. Every time I have a bath or a shower I put them on, lather them up with whatever soap or body wash I’m using, and scrub scrub scrub. Such a cheap and efficient way of ensuring soft smooth skin all over!
Try to fit in a good exercise routine, if your body looks good – you feel good. Remember not to overdo it and get plenty of rest too.

Whoever you are, however young or old – male or female – you have to use sunblock. Even if the weather looks cloudy, there are increasing cases of skin cancer around the world: this is not just about preventing wrinkles or freckles (which sunblock will do), it’s about keeping you safe. People tell me I look younger than I am – and it is definitely because I’m aware what the sun can do. Please make sure you look after children as well!

Don’t think bad negative thoughts about people no matter what they’ve done to you. A hard thing not to do, I know. It will show on your face if you do and eat at you from the inside out. Stay positive and believe in natural justice. What goes round comes round. It might not be today, tomorrow or even next year, but they will be repaid and you will have kept your youthful looks.

I love threading for my eyebrows – once I’d tried it – I loved it – I like the shape it gives and I do not find it painful
I also recently tried a garra rufa pedicure – it feels odd to begin with but my feet were really soft afterwards
There is only one beauty tip that everyone needs – Fall in love…… it makes you feel fantastic. And we all know that when you feel fantastic, you look fantastic too!!
Moisturise your body everytime you get out of the shower or bath and before bed! I was always lazy about this but it makes a huge difference to my skin. A good time to start is while you are on holiday (or even away on a work trip). You have a bit more time and you’ll be putting on sunscreen anyway so treat yourself and buy a nice moisturiser at the airport. Your tan should be more even as well.
