Ok, so I am maybe not a Mother, but I am certainly my Mother’s Daughter when it comes to appreciating spa and beauty treatments and therefore perfectly delighted to ‘test’ out the fabulous Mother’s Day Spa Package at PURE Spa! My Mum has always been very much a fan of ‘me time’ (particularly when a fluffy robe is involved) and has instilled in me a love of spa and beauty therapies from an early age.

Having changed in to the fluffy robe and after sweating out toxins in the infra red sauna (I emerged resembling the colour of a lobster, thankfully it is dim lighting in the spa), you are then safely cocooned in a treatment room where you are pampered from head to toe (or toe to head in this case). The foot treatment leaves your feet feeling soft, your facial and eye treatment is tailored to your skin needs and if further persuasion to unwind is required then the head massage will certainly achieve that. Oh and did I mention that the treatment bed was heated?!

And you don’t have to return to the daily routine quite yet. Afternoon Tea now awaits you – yours to enjoy at your leisure. Indulgent? Certainly. Worth it? Of course!

So, an ideal gift for Mother’s Day? Definitely! I recommend this package not just because of my own experience of it (which was utterly fabulous) but because I know it would make many a Mother very happy this Mother’s Day. Elemis invites PURE to London!

“Hi Its Noella speaking, wanna bring some of your hardest working therapists for a Elemis Trip of a Lifetime in London?”. YES! Well that’s not quite how it happened, Noella Head of Product Development for Elemis, is a busy woman! But last week 4 PURE Staffers (1 from each location) took off to London to meet their idol and get pampered beyond their dreams…all thanks to Elemis! Here Tendai from PURE Lothian Road tells us what they got up to…

“On Sunday we all met for lunch in London after travelling from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. After lunch we went sightseeing (in the pouring rain!) to explore London and scope out other spas in the big city! Conveniently it was Chinese New Year while we were visiting so we went to China Town for dinner and drinks. An early bed was in order to feel refreshed and rejuvenated for the big day ahead…!

First of all we went for Breakfast at a cute French place just across from The Ritz (how glam!) Next we headed to the Elemis Day Spa in Mayfair where we were pampered beyond our wildest dreams. We all had the Elemis Absolute Spa Package which is one of the most popular spa packages and includes a full body massage and an Elemis advanced facial! Bliss!

It was lovely having treatments at Elemis’ Flagship Spa, they even have a complementary SkinLab and Healthy Smoothies. We felt like princesses! Plus, I was recommended most of the products that I already use all the time. I must know a lot about my skincare routine! 🙂

Finally we met Noella and went for lunch at Mews restaurant near the Elemis Day Spa. Noella is Product Development Director for Elemis, she basically makes all the products we use everyday in our PURE Spas! It was amazing to be up close and speak to her. She is so inspiring and has made me want to talk about Elemis products all the time! Noella gave us lots of gossip about the new Elemis products coming out in 2013! Keep your eyes peeled for a new cleanser and a illuminating product coming soon!
