Most Marvellous Massage at PURE Spa

PURE Spa Silverburn has been nominated to win the Most Marvellous Massage accolade at the 2011 Good Spa Guide Awards.

Good Spa Guide Awards 2011 Most Marvellous Massage PURE Spa Silverburn

Shortlisted alongside 4 other spas, PURE Spa is being commended for the Hot Stone Therapy, in which warm basalt stones are used to provide a deep and relaxing massage.

“Single Spy”, one of the judges for Good Spa Guide, said the following after her visit to PURE Spa Silverburn:

Sometimes, a massage doesn’t have to take hours of carrying-out to be effective. A targeted massage without fairy fingers can unknot shoulders beautifully. That’s what I found with my massage at Pure Spa in the Silverburn shopping mall; the massage being one element of a selection of treatments that make up the PURE Spa essentials experience.

The divine scents of the Elemis MuscleEase body oil helped me drift away while my therapist gradually eased my shoulders from their usual tense position (somewhere near my ears). Perfect if you’ve shopped till you’ve dropped and need a pick-up.

Good Spa Guide is the only independent spa guide in the UK, which makes this nomination even more special.

Please show your support to PURE Spa Silverburn and help bring this award to a Scottish spa. Click here to leave a comment to the Good Spa Guide to help the judges in their decision to choosing PURE!

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients for showing us their continued support over the years, it truly means a lot to us.

A PURE talent for business

PURE has been shortlisted in the Nectar Business Small Business Awards 2011, a nationwide business competition. We are just weeks away from hearing if we will pick up the accolade, judged by top businesswoman and star of the hit show The Apprentice, Karren Brady.

Becky Woodhouse, the company’s co-founder, entered PURE Spa into the Small Business of the Year category and is in with a good chance of winning.

Becky noticed how difficult it was to get an appointment at local beauty salons to fit around her working day, which led to the idea for a city-centre beauty salon providing quick, quality, convenient beauty services with extended opening hours. Becky established PURE Spa which catered for individual needs, providing them with a ‘create your own’ treatment concept that allows clients to select from a menu of treatments to suit their needs.

PURE Spa’s first salon opened in Edinburgh’s financial district in 2002. The business has since expanded to include spas in Glasgow and Aberdeen, offering free parking and extended opening hours to attract customers. Last year PURE Spa collaborated with other spa businesses to develop a range of bath and body products which are sold at Tesco.

Becky commented: “I’m so pleased to be shortlisted in the Nectar Business Small Business Awards – the recognition makes all the hard work well worth it.”
