Exfoliated all over?
Applied self tan?
Applied moisturiser to dry areas such as knees and elbows?
Went to bed before the tan had time to dry and now woken up with strange looking white stripes?
Don’t despair, we’ve all been there. Even DIY self tan experts have slipped up and ended up with a less than perfect tan. However it’s easily fixed.
We recommend that if you’re tanning before a special occasion or event, that you always do it 2 days beforehand, in case there are any problems.
Hop into the shower and soap up a loofah and scrub all over. This will ensure that all of the guide colour has been removed.
If you still notice streaks or patches, use a good salt scrub exfoliator and rub in circular motions over the problem area. Afterwards moisturise the area well.
If you need to apply a little bit of tan to the area you can do, to touch up. Mix this with moisturiser for a natural sun kissed look and the patchy tan.
