Rehydrate your skin

Catching a flight this holiday? Did you know that flying, climatic change, being in the sun or an air-conditioned environment are all factors that contribute to skin dehydration.

There is a lot of hype in the skincare industry about the importance of skin hydration but what does it all mean? Skin dehydration is the lack of water in the skin and is often confused with dryness (lack of oil). Tiny lines that appear are signs of dehydration and unfortunately most people’s skin’s are dehydrated – either deep or superficial.

So what is the answer to rehydrating the skin? Firstly, it is vital to keep the body internally hydrated – remember that alcohol and caffeine are diuretics so water intake should be increased when these are consumed! Use products such as hydrating masks and serums that will give your skin the boost it needs!

A tip… use the Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask before and after your flight as it is super moisturising!
