Sun-Believable Launch and COMPETITION!

PURE Spa Sun-Believable Launch at Ocean Terminal

To celebrate the launch of the Sun-Believable tanning range, which is premiering its first professional use at PURE Spa Scotland this month, we were pleased to host two launch events alongside Leighton Denny; the man at the helm of the Sun-Believable brand!

Our first launch was at PURE Spa Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh on Friday 28th June, followed by a trip up to PURE Spa Union Square, Aberdeen on Saturday 29th June!

We’re all super excited about the products – and it seems you lot are too..!

Leighton hosted a Meet & Greet at both the venues with some of our clients, offering his advice & insight on his Sun-Believable range (as well as cheeky wee tips on nail-care and beauty, using our Leighton Denny Expert Nails products as his top recommendations!)

Prior to this, Leighton and tanning expert Moiya Saint (the lady behind the much-hyped new Kate Moss for St Tropez ad, as well as Mel B, Cheryl Cole & Rihanna’s go-to spray-tanner!) trained our PURE Spa therapists on the products and treatment methods used in the Sun-Believable system. It’s fair to say the PURE ladies were verrry excited to be working with such big industry names!

Beach Body Beautiful: Meet Karla!

It’s the second week of our Beach Body Beautiful campaign with our Ocean Terminal girls & Pure Gym..

This week, we have a blog post coming in from Karla, whose progress & Beach Body Beautiful tips we will be following in her inspiring weight-loss journey! So, without further ado…

Karla:

“I gradually started putting weight on in the past few years, but pretended not to notice and kept smiling and pretending that I was happy – when one day, putting on my size 22 trousers, I realised things had to change!

I’m very lucky to have very supportive friends and an amazing family who have helped me from the very beginning, so New Year 2013 was the start of a new me – and I’ve never looked back since, and been nothing but 100% dedicated.

So every morning, I now make sure I have breakfast to keep me energised throughout the day & to keep me from snacking. Also making sure I have a glass of milk, as calcium is great to keep the bones healthy & strong!

I have now cut out the bad habit of buying a Greggs for lunch – or anything else very unhealthy – and bringing in soup or a salad, along with fruit, to work for my lunch. For dinner, I always make sure I eat meat for protein – and again, to keep me from snacking!

I have completely cut out take-aways and officially stopped craving them! I’ve also cut out fizzy juice and only ever drink water or fruit juice – this has been no problem!

I have completely changed my whole lifestyle; from being a party girl who would binge drink and comfort eat, to someone who now only goes out on special occasions & who wants to live a healthy life.

I have been a Pure Gym member for 3 months now, as all the girls encouraged me to join and I love it! I feel the weight has just fallen off, so now my main issue is keeping myself toned. I started my life-changing journey on 1st January 2013, and from today, I am one pound off from losing an amazing 5 stone! My goal is another 3 stone to take me down to a healthy 10 stone. So fingers crossed I get there!

But one thing’s for sure.. I would never go back to the girl I was last year – she’s long gone and forgotten! It’s been the hardest thing I have ever done in all my life, but at the same time, the most amazing thing I’ve ever done! I have never been more proud of myself :)”
